It's a shame no one has used this thing in so long. Oh well. I still check it every day.

haha. i just listened to that beatles song...with the majorly high falsetto right in the middle.

Anonymous said...

Yeahhhhhh

Paul McCartney has got it going on.

I'm listening to Hallelujah again (Jeff Buckley's version). Beyond words. Simply beautiful.

I hope Mr. Nic doesn't mind our blog conversations.

Anonymous said...

i don't think he would mind....we could post something social studies-y...

like china!

wow. dedicaton guys. dedication. and this was today! impressive. we should definitely do like a very super dee dooper opinionated essay that it blows all the politicans to mongolia and it astounds even the dumbest people. (which i love! no insulting there!)

I'm with Kelly...

Anonymous said...

yeah..so i talked to her, and apparently she was replying to my original post.

Anonymous said...

Ok...that clears it up a little.

Anonymous said...

i know.
I was pretty confused.
i actually still kind of am...

kendra, maybe YOU could write that essay.:]]

Anonymous said...

sean!!!
your buddy got you a present!!!

Anonymous said...

How in the world do you know that Kelly?

Anonymous said...

well because...I was standing there when she asked where you were.
and then she whispered what she got you.
but i'm not telling.
:]]

Anonymous said...

We very nearly had a conversation there, judging from the post times. But then I ate dinner.

Yes, I remember leaving. And standing all alone.

Anonymous said...

hey!
It's your birthday!

standing all alone..?...

well did you get the present?:]

Anonymous said...

Yeah, don't you remember? She made me leave, and so for about 20 seconds or so I was standing all alone. Which was really only weird because I didn't know what to do for a whole 20 seconds. Except stand.

And no, I didn't get the present yet. Kelsey rode on her bike to my house and gave me a present, which was really nice.

I will be celebrating my birthday with a yard sale followed by a band practice. The practice is actually nice though.

...I hate yard sales.

Anonymous said...

Oh............wait.
I think maybe you WEREN'T there when I had to leave.

Okay.

Anonymous said...

yeah. 20 seconds is a pretty long time..
yeah..I'm pretty sure I wasn't there.
but you weren't there after school when she brought the present over. I think she gave it to dylan.

wow. balloons, presents from buddies and friends, rice krispy-chocolate-sprinkle-esque foods...sounds like a pretty great birthday.

ooh! is the yard sale just for your birthday?!?!?! wait-i guess if you hate them then it's not...not that anyone actually celebrates their birthday with a yard sale...:]]maybe some people do though...

but yeah. I know!! I hate having to sit there for hours. although, I usually just end up "going to get the mail" and riding my bike around.

does practice usually last a long time? ://

Anonymous said...

Our comments have become increasingly long...

Yeah. I'm not so big on the whole "yard-sale-as-a-from-of-birthday-celebration" concept. I don't mind it though, practice starts at 2:30.

Which segues nicely into your next question! practice today is 2:30-7:00. That's a pretty typical Saturday practice. On weekdays they're usually shorter. In the summer they can be 8 hours. It's a little tiring, but really fun.

Do you like riding bikes? Because I really enjoy it. Yesterday I went out for an hour. The weather was gorgeous.

Anonymous said...

i know! interesting how it works out like that...

yeah. I don't think many people are actually. I'm sure there's some though.:]

wow. that's a pretty long time. i'm sure it goes by pretty fast though...?..geeze. 8 hours. that is some intense practicing. you guys are really good though..

yes! I LOVE riding bikes! I'm actually kind of upset right now because my bike has a flat tire. but yeah, when the weather is nice, it's AMAZING! And today the weather is super gorgeous, and I have a flat tire. dang...do you usually go by yourself? I think it's always more fun with other people, but i somehow manage to almost always run into someone..i'm not a very safe driver..

Anonymous said...

Thanks! We (the band) apparently have fans at North. The most random school to have fans from.

I usually do go by myself. I never have anyone to ride with anymore. I do fine alone though, because I think anyone else would get bored.

But sometimes i would go riding with my dad by the canal, which is fun...especially the underpasses.

My bike...is terrible. But I love it. It has no suspension, brakes that kind of work, only one gear (it's supposed to have 15, but they all failed). But it's nice at the same time. The only problem that concerns me is that my front tire has a slow leak, which doesn't affect my bike when I'm riding it, but I have to pump up the tire every time I go to ride.

Oh well...it just adds muscle to my (already really muscular) arms.

Anonymous said...

north? wow. that is pretty random.

yeah. well it's never boring riding alone...it's just nice to have someone to talk to, ya know? and sing. I usually sing when i ride my bike. alone or with friends. crazy stuff. :]]

i've never gone riding by a canal. For some reason I think it'd be kinda scary..

wow. it sounds like you've had it for a while. it definitely does not sound terrible. It has personality I guess...and no safety...but that's okay.:]] mine's fairly new. I need to fall or something on it a few times..give it some stories and experience...:]

yes. of course of course. did it all come from riding your bike? WOW.. ;]

Anonymous said...

It's exactly four hours since your last comment! WOW, that's exciting.

I sing on my bike too. Only when I'm alone though. My dad would definitely give me a look if I sang when he was there.

Canals are fun to ride by! Especially because you can skip rocks or feed ducks or watch the giant fish that live in there. It's a real adventure.

I've fallen off my bike quite a few times. But I've already told you about that, haven't I? Strange.

I guess it does have personality.

No, the muscles aren't all from pumping tires. They're from drums too. HA.

WOW. My verification code this time is "qlhcfhqs". That's a long one.

Anonymous said...

Oh and...Dylan said he left my buddy's gift at school with his pies. I feel bad.

Anonymous said...

really? well I wouldn't give you a look.:]] it just seems like a bike-ish thing to do. I can NEVER ride my bike and not sing. i don't know. maybe because it's like that whole driving in the car and listening to music thing..well, for me at least.

wow. that DEFINITELY sounds like an adventure. so you take bread with you then (for the ducks)? geeze. I feel seriously deprived. there's no canals by my house though...well maybe..i don't know.://

haha. I think you have, which is really funny, because I remember that time when you were telling me all about every time you've fallen off your bike and your bike adventures...
that was a while ago though. i think. wait-strange?

oh yeah. that's right. pumping tires AND drums. oh geeze.;]]

that IS pretty long. this one's longer though: ifpqoqal. now that is DEFINITELY a beast.

aww. do you know what the present is?

alrighty.
well, good night.:]]
ps. Happy Birthday. :]]

Thank you!

As if it were just waiting for by birthday, I just found the entire Steel Train concert from DeepRockDrive.com (I'll explain later). It was fantastic.

I actually don't listen to much music in the car (mostly because my mom's music tastes don't...align with mine).

I haven't been canal adventuring in a while, so I'm a bit deprived myself.

I meant strange as in, a conversation from last school year just showed up now. On a blog. You know, strange.

I just hope my buddy isn't sad. She seems like she would cry if she found out. Awww. :(

(Dylan sort of knew what the present was. But he was a bit confused, I think.)

Well I guess I'll be off to bed soon too. Maybe.

GOOD NIGHT.

You know, that's a Beatles song.

Anonymous said...

Morning!

yeah. i think you'll definitely have to explain later.

wow.i can't believe you remembered that. yeah, i thought it was from last year too...that WAS a while ago.
you're right. strange.

aw. that is really sad. she seems like someone who would cry. well she doesn't know though, so..

GOOD NIGHT? should I listen to it?
i think i will.

well. i'm off to church.
:]]

Anonymous said...

Dang! Your church is early, girl!

DeepRockDrive.com...it's basically a website where you can sign up and watch concerts. There's a place in Las Vegas where they film it and stream it live online so you can watch it. The really cool part is that there are like 100 screens in front of them, and you can say stuff to them and they can see it show up on the screens! I watched it with Angela and they read hers out loud. For the most part they cost money, but Steel Train is still relatively small-time so it was free. And I guess because it was free, they put it on YouTube. I found it yesterday and relived the experience.

Good Night is actually a lullaby that John wrote for his son Julian. Ringo sings it, and it's actually very sappy, with string arrangements and stuff. I guess it's kind of relaxing?

I like this verification code: vegeduh.

I forgot how to sign in here.

Do we really need to have six pages of notes for that paper? and if someone else remembers how to sign in and post something in the main part could you do that please?

Anonymous said...

Anika, just go into the homepage for blogspot.com and sign in using the password and username mr nick gave us. then just click "new post" once you log in.:]]

i can try and do it for you.:]]

yeah, and I actually have the same question. Did you ever get the answer? Is it just six pages, as in, six sides, or is it six pages front and back, equaling twelve sides...?..://

Anonymous said...

can you guys look at the new posts?
